The upper school had a great first week. Thank you for choosing Harding Academy for your family. We are honored to be able to partner with you. If I can help you in any way, please let me know. We want this to be a great year!

All parents and guardians of students in 7–12 are invited to Meet the Teacher Night this coming Monday. The festivities begin with a 6:00–6:45 time of fellowship and information in the cafeteria (elementary gym). You will be able to pick up information you need, enjoy some refreshments, watch some Harding videos, and visit with fellow parents. Please notice that this is a night for parents and guardians only. Students should not be at school for Meet the Teacher night. Click to open this document that gives basic information about the upper school Meet the Teacher Night.
Thanks to all of our wonderful students, parents, teachers, and support staff who made our first week go so smoothly. We appreciate your patience as we navigate the drop-off and pick-up process during the construction time. I predict that things will get even smoother as we work through the next few days. Is your student getting off to a good start? I'll bet some homework has already been assigned, and conscientious students will want to stay on top of the homework. Parents should not have to supervise homework at the upper school level, but it never hurts to ask your student if he has homework and what his plan is for getting it done. With the start of a new year, we have the perfect opportunity to turn over a new leaf. Please let me know if you have questions or concerns. It would also be great for you to send your child to ask those questions himself. I am thankful for each family that is part of the Harding family, and I know we are going to have a great year.
